Volunteer

Each year, volunteers give over 12,000 volunteer hours sorting donations, preparing gifts for age groups and bagging toys for specific families and so much more. There are also 1,200 volunteer drivers along with their helpers who deliver gift packages. There are a wide variety of volunteer opportunities, levels of responsibility, and commitment levels to suit each volunteer’s needs.

Most volunteer opportunities at Santas Depot are restricted to those 16 years of age and older; however, we welcome all ages to volunteer on delivery day. This is a great event for families to volunteer together and can serve as a rewarding and eye-opening experience for children and adults alike.

Ways to Volunteer

630 CHED Santas Anonymous relies on volunteer power and community spirit to fill the toy requests we receive from 20,000 less fortunate children in Edmonton.

Please choose individual, group or delivery day for details on current and upcoming opportunities:

"It's so heartwarming knowing that these gifts are getting to deserving families because of us. Now having a family of my own I couldn’t be more excited to be able to share these memories with my son."

Health and Safety at Santas Depot

630 CHED Santas Anonymous will continue to meet or exceed all AHS protocols. As of June 15th, 2022, the Government of Alberta entered Stage 3 of its COVID-19 recovery plan, and all remaining health restrictions related to COVID-19 have been lifted. We encourage you to remain vigilant and to stay home if you are unwell.

If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, you are free to bring one along to your shift.

Thank you for being patient, flexible, compassionate and understanding as we navigated the evolving health restrictions over the last two years.
