Restrictions Exemption Program FAQs

In response to the Alberta Government’s COVID restrictions, the Jerry Forbes Centre has implemented the Restrictions Exemption Program, the following entrance requirements apply for ages 12 and up:

  • Proof of COVID vaccination – completed two doses, or
  • Documentation of medical exemption or
  • Proof of a negative PCR or rapid test within 72 hours of coming to Santa's Depot. (Tests from AHS or Alberta Precision Laboratories not allowed)

  • Anyone entering Santas Depot must wear a properly fitting mask or face covering and complete a COVID Fit to Work Form

  • Proof of a privately paid negative PCR or rapid test within 72 hours of building access. (Tests from AHS or Alberta Precision Laboratories not allowed)
 

No, not at this time. Donations are made at the door and do not require access to the building.

No, Santas will not be maintaining any personal medical information in our files. This means volunteers will need to show their proof of vaccination status before every shift

If we have opportunities available for children under age 16, children under 12 years old are exempt from showing proof of vaccination

All PCR or rapid negative tests and the costs associated are the responsibility of the volunteer. These must be completed with 72 hours of coming to Santa's Depot

  • Face coverings are required
  • All workstations are sanitized between volunteers
  • Workstations are spaced 6 feet apart to allow for physical distancing
