Dispatch Team Application

Porters assist Delivery Days volunteer drivers with taking gift packages from Santas Depot to their vehicle in the parking lot.  Porters may also assist drivers with bringing undeliverable gift packages from their vehicles into Santas Depot. One adult dispatch supervisor is required for every 3 teens that may fill this role.  Adults are required to volunteer along with their group. Must be able to work independently and able to carry loads of gifts to vehicles.

Please submit cohort group of 3 Porters + 1 Adult Dispatcher

Delivery Day Porters

Must be 18+ years old, responsible, and capable of leading a team of porters 

Must be Age 16+ and able to carry gift bags to vehicles

2020 Delivery Days are December 12 & 13

Please choose your top three shift choices.

1.    This is a request for a group shift; list 3 preferences to better the chance of your group receiving a shift.  Group shifts are extremely popular and we typically receive more requests than shifts available. 

2.   All volunteers must commit to the full shift. We ask your group to carpool and arrive on time as we begin with an orientation session.

3.    Although you have requested a specific role, group members may be asked to assist in other areas.

4.    Please ensure all group members are dressed for working outdoors. 

5.    Please contact us at least 72 hours prior to your shift if you need to cancel.

6.    All porters must be Age 16+ and the dispatch supervisor must be over 18 years old.
