630 CHED Santas Anonymous relies almost completely on Volunteer power to serve the 25,000 less fortunate children in Edmonton. We only employ a small staff during a few months of the year otherwise the entire program is operated by volunteers.

 

Every year, we utilized over 5,000 volunteer hours to wrap and bag the toys and over 1,200 volunteer drivers to deliver the toys. You can be a part of the magic too! We have a wide variety of volunteer opportunities, levels of responsibility, and commitment levels to suit each potential volunteer's needs.

As a group (8 to 12 people)  you can request a Wrapping Bee on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays or drop in as an individual on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, or Sundays. 

 

Most volunteer opportunities at Santas Depot are restricted to those 16 years of age and up due to liability issues working in a warehouse. However, we do welcome all ages to volunteer for our delivery days. This is a great event for families to volunteer together and is often the most rewarding and eye opening experience for children to be involved in.

 
Please note for the "Drop-In" volunteer opportunities there may be times that we have a full complement of volunteers and are unable to accomodate you, due to our "first come, first served" philosophy.  We will try our best to accommodate your needs.
