Toy Run 2009
Edmonton’s 26th Annual Motorcycle Toy Run was another great success.  With over 2800 riders we received donations of approximately a 48’ trailer load of Toys.  This is a huge start to helping the children we serve at Christmas time.  Thank you so much from CHED Santas Anonymous.   In addition we receive cash donations from individuals and organizations and these continue to arrive and are now over $8500.   Vendors at the event also graciously make donations from their sales, not to mention all the groups that give auction items and door prizes.

This kind of event does not happen without the help of organizations and individuals from all walks of life.  The Motorcycle community and others all
pitch in to make this an huge success.  We would like to acknowledge the following groups and individuals:

AB Safety Council, volunteers and board members
Christian Motorcycle Riders

Women in the Wind

Jay & friends from Cycle Works

Cindy and friends for the 50/50 draw

NARC – Northern Alberta Radio Club

AMA

We do not want to miss anyone, as there are individuals who help out of the goodness of their hearts, for this we are truly grateful.  Thank you everyone!

Gary Draeger Memorial Golf Classic 2009

Santas Toy Run
The Santas toy run goes the last Sunday of September from Capilano Mall. Upwards of 2500 motorcycles bring unwrapped toys to the event which snakes throughout city streets for approximately 45 minutes then ends up at Northlands for music, food and various entertainment. As well as toy donations cash donations are welcomed and are required to pay for wrapping paper, scotch tape and other basic needs.
