Below you will find a list of different toy suggestions for the kids, to make every childs christmas a memorable one!

Thank you for taking the time to select a special toy for our program.

For all you beginners out there, a few things to get you started
  • We serve children from ages, infant to 12 years of age. We are often short of items for 9-12 year olds (see below for suggestions).
  • Look for age recommendations on toys: although some age restrictions are simply warnings about small parts (3 and up), it can be a good guide for beginners.
  • If you are unsure check with the Store Associate for suggestions

Additions
We make every effort to make the toys “immediately playable” on Christmas morning, therefore we always need:

  • Batteries (especially AA, 9V, D)
  • Barbie Clothes
  • Hot Wheels Cars
  • Colouring and Activity Books
  • Crayons, Pencil Crayons and Felts
  • Books (from cloth for infants to novels for 12 year olds and everything in between)

If you purchase an item that needs accessories please try to include them with it. For example send batteries with battery operated toys, extra clothes with a barbie, CD with a discman.

Please Do Not Send
We want to ensure that every toy that is sent out is new, safe, appropriate, in perfect condition, and is as special as we know the children are. In that spirit we do not wrap the following:
  • Food (Candy, cookies, etc)- due to possible food allergies (except:Easy Bake Oven Packets)
  • Used Items- We provide new toys only, helping children to maintain their dignity and self respect
  • Makeup and Bath Stuff - due to allergies and possible household rules
  • Items for Adults and Teens - we only serve kids up to 12
  • Clothing- we provide new toys only
  • Fragile items (glass, porcelain or china)- Fragile items may not survive the wrapping, stacking and delivering process
  • Dangerous Toys - woodburning sets, kits with scalpals, adult supervision required
  • Realistic Weapons - knives, swords, guns (except Nerf dart guns, etc)
  • Poor Quality Plush Animals- Some of the plush commonly found in machines or at local fairs, are of poor construction and contain dangerous parts that could potentially harm a child. (Does it say “This is NOT a toy”, or are there any wires that poke out, loose eyeballs, or extremely hard heads? When you tug on the seams does stuffing come out?)
